Mr. Chad Thurner has 20 plus years of experience in the applications of surveying, mapping and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). He is very passionate about the research and development of new technology and how it can be incorporated it into our services.
Mr. Thurner is the Vice-President and Operations Manager of the Tallahassee office. He is a proficient and effective leader that handles daily operations and long range planning efforts within the organization and is responsible for the daily operations of projects under his supervision, including management and coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and the project team to ensure successful completion that is within budget and adhering to time constraints.
His key experience has been working with large land owners/developers, and various local municipalities, in addition to his State, Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP), Florida Department of transportation (FDOT) and Federal, Department of Defense (DOD) clients. Mr. Thurner strongly believes that meeting client’s deadlines and expectations should always be the strength of a company and it’s the key to a long a healthy relationship with its clients.
Chad graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Sciences (B.S.) degree in Geomatics.
Chad is currently registered in Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, S Carolina and Texas and is Geographic Information System Professional (GISP) certified.
He is a member of Florida Surveying & Mapping Society (FSMS), Alabama Society of Professional Land Surveyors (ASPLS), National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS), Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), Seven Hills Regional User Group for GIS (SHRUG).
